Biophilic design · Smart products · Sustainability-informed choices
Spaces with purpose.
Products with a place.
SectionForm brings architectural thinking, biophilic design and smart workspace products together to improve existing spaces. We select for practical function, adaptability and long-term use, and assess environmental claims against available evidence.
We welcome furniture and workspace technology brands interested in exploring how their products could fit within considered workspace concepts.
Better spaces.
More considered choices.
An emerging, architecture-led workspace initiative connecting spatial design with furniture, nature-connected elements and useful technology.
Our direction is to improve existing spaces, starting with what can be retained, rearranged or upgraded. The portfolio introduces our design perspective and provides a foundation for future product collaborations.
See the thinking.
Explore the spaces.
Five concepts exploring layouts, material palettes and shared settings. They introduce our architectural approach and provide a starting point for product-focused collaboration.

The Timberstone Office
A workplace concept exploring a natural-looking material palette, tactile surfaces and a balance of shared and individual settings.

Three priorities.
One design perspective.
Architecture brings the layers together. Every proposed solution still needs to fit the space, its users and the practical requirements of installation and upkeep.
FORM ARCHITECTURE-LED
Biophilic Design
Explore daylight and views, planting suited to light and maintenance, and natural or nature-inspired materials and forms. A natural appearance alone does not establish environmental credentials.
Smart Workspace Products
Consider lighting controls, occupancy sensors, environmental monitoring, energy-management devices and smart planting systems where they address a practical need. Check power, compatibility, data handling, subscriptions and support.
Sustainability-Informed Selection
Consider reuse, durability, repair, spare parts and adaptable construction. Assess relevant product documentation and distinguish supplier statements from independent evidence.
Smart and biophilic features are not automatically sustainable. We do not claim measured energy, health or carbon benefits without appropriate supporting evidence.
Show the role.
Explain the choice.
Connect a product to a workspace need, then make its requirements and limitations clear.
Biophilic layer: planting
Explore planting within the shared layout. Species, available light, water, drainage and maintenance access need checking before selecting a system.
Smart layer: lighting controls
A potential upgrade is controllable lighting matched to occupancy and daylight. Confirm fixture compatibility, control method and installation requirements. This image does not demonstrate an installed system or measured savings.
Long-term layer: adaptable furniture
Assess flexibility, replaceable parts, warranty and care. Material and environmental claims need product-specific documentation.
Models for these proposed directions are not yet specified. We welcome relevant supplier information for review.
From a workspace need
to a considered choice.
Architectural planning provides context. Product information helps us test whether a solution belongs there.
-
Understand & Retain
Define activities, constraints and what can remain in use before proposing additions or replacement.
-
Plan & Connect
Develop the layout, movement and relationship to daylight, views and nature-connected elements.
-
Select & Check
Assess dimensions, function, installation, smart-system compatibility, maintenance and environmental evidence.
-
Explain & Disclose
Present the decisions, identify sources and distinguish confirmed information from assumptions requiring checks.
Let's explore where
your products fit.
We welcome furniture, biophilic product and smart workspace brands interested in exchanging product information and exploring collaboration.
